Renowned for stunning performances of contemporary chamber music, Halcyon shines its light on Australian composers in Where the Heart Is, an intimate and enticing program for two voices, flute, cello and piano. Highlights include the beautiful new Wimmera Song Cycle by Canberra composer Ruth Lee Martin on poems by the internationally recognised Australian poet, literary critic and philosopher Kevin Hart and To the Evening Star by Sydney composer Andrew Schultz, the winning work in the Paul Lowin 2009 Song Cycle Prize.
